Port Forwarding - Unicom Routers/Modems

If your router is not listed on this site or in the programs I can add them!
By adding your router I can create all the guides, screenshot databases and have your router work in my programs.
All you need to do is use my easy to use router screen capture program. This will make getting me the data easy and simple.

Port Forwarding Guide
For automatic port forwarding try Simple Port Forwarding

Step 1.

Some routers & modems work best with port forwarding if you have a static local IP.
Manually set your network interface card ( NIC ) to use a static ip address.
You can also download my FREE Simple Static IP tool to set it for you.

Step 2.

Open your favorite web browser and input your routers ip address in the address bar.
Please note that you must have the http:// in order to connect to your router/modem properly.

Step 3.

Enter the routers password here and click the OK button.

If you don't know it you can check our list of default router and modem password list here.

If you have changed it and don't remember it you may have to reset your device to factory default using the reset button on most routers.

Step 4.

Once logged into your router click on the "Access" link on the left of the page.

Step 5
Once the page loads click on "Virtual Server" at the top of the page.

Once the page loads click on the "Enable" option.

For "Name" give your rule a name.

For "Protocol" Select the protocol you want to use.

For "Private Port" Enter the port you want to forward.

For "Public Port" Enter the port you want to forward.

For "LAN Server" enter the IP address of the computer you want to forward the port to.

Click the "Add" Box to save your new rule.

Repeat step 6 to add more ports.

Some router/modems require a username and/or password, if yours requires it, enter the routers username and password here.

If you have changed it and don't remember it you may have to reset your device to factory default using the reset button on most routers.

Step 4.

Once logged into your router click on "Configuration"

Wait for the page to load and click on "Virtual Server"

Now click on "Add Virtual Server"

Step 5.

Give your entry a name under "Application"

Next select your "Protocol"

For "External Ports" enter in a range of starting  ports you would like to forward.
Example: 3300-4300

Now for "Redirect Port" enter in a range of ending ports you would like to forward.
Example: 4300-6300

Next enter in the computers IP address in "Internal IP Address"

Click on "Apply"

Repeat steps 4 & 5 for any more ports you want to forward.

All Done!

Wait for the page to load and click on "Port Forwarding"

Step 5.

First for "Port Forward" check "Enabled"

Next select your "Preset Port"

Give your entry a name under "Name"

For "Public Port" enter in the starting/ending  ports you would like to forward.
Example: 3300-4300

Now select your "Protocol"

Next enter in the computers IP address in "Local IP"

For "Port" enter in the starting port you want to forward.

Click on "Apply"

Repeat steps 4 & 5 for any more ports you want to forward.

All Done!

Once logged into your router click on the "Advanced Setup" link on the top of the page.

Once the page loads click the "NAT" link at the top of the page.

Now for "Private IP" enter the IP of the computer you want to port forward to.

For "Private Port" enter the port you want to forward.

For "Type" select the protocol you wish to use.

For "Public Port" enter the port you want to forward.

Now check the "Enabled" Box.

Repeat Step 6 to add more ports.

Now Click the "Apply" button at the top right of the page.

After the page loads click on "Virtual Server" under "Port Forwarding".

Step 6

Now for "Public Port" enter the port(s) you want to forward.
Example: 2100-2200 for a range or ports, OR 2100 for just a single port.

For "Private Port" enter the port(s) you want to forward.

For "Server IP" enter the IP address of the computer you want to forward the port(s) to.

For "Data Type" select the protocol type you want to use.

Now check the "Enable" box.

For "Use Rule #" use the default.

Repeat Step 6 to add more ports.

When finished click the "Save" button.
